Tell us why you need diverse games

Be concise, if you are submitting a game rec or write up, include information such as what platform(s) it’s available on, release year, screenshots/game play video if possible. Also, and most importantly why you consider it a diverse game.

For other types of submissions, include how you’d like to be credited, if you welcome people to contact you regarding your post and if you are seeking collaboration, give a way to contact you.

So send us an email with Article Pitch in the Subject line to tauriq@ineeddiversegames.org

What we’d like to see:Thoughtful pieces on games, how they affect you, pieces that dissect and interrogate games and games culture on race, LGBTQIA issues, trans issues, neurodivergence, disability and other topics we don’t get to see discussed often.

What we don’t want to see: boring reviews, things that give games a numerical score and blather on about mechanics in a non-interesting way. If the mechanics are interesting and contribute to what to the larger theme of the piece, that’s cool.

Remember, send a brief synopsis of the idea, links to other stuff you have written and include the best way to contact you. Do not send a whole article attached to the email.

If you wish to send something in for republication that has already been posted elsewhere, please let us know that in your email.

All submissions are reviewed and obvious troll posts will be deleted and submitter ignored/blocked/muted

Remember as long as we maintain our Patreon at $750 a month we’ll be able to pay for articles! Two a month at $50 each.
